RON MANGRAVITEWriter, Producer
Ron is an award winning filmmaker, writer and critic whose work centers on American culture. (mangravite.blogspot.com) His films and scripts have won awards at festivals and competitions in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and Charleston, SC. Other writing and producing experience includes several optioned features, a daytime drama pilot, show segments for a weekly PBS series, eight produced plays and work as a script consultant and story analyst for NBC, CBS, Disney and HBO. He has also produced or directed over forty professional stage productions in New York and in regional theatres across the US. He is CEO/President of Coral Gate Media, LLC, which produces and distributes films, books and DVD products. Mangravite has taught at the University of Miami, the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and the Juilliard School. He holds degrees from UCLA’s Film/TV Producers Program and the University of California, Berkeley.
